RCC ESAP 2 facilitates staff exchange on undeclared work between Tax Administration of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina that hosted representatives of Ministry of Finance, Labour and Transfers, Tax and Labour Inspectorates from Pristina

RCC ESAP 2 organizes two-day staff exchange between Tax Administration of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Ministry of Finance, Labour and Transfers, Tax and Labour Inspectorates from Pristina

Sarajevo – Tax Administration of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina hosted representatives of Ministry of Finance, Labour and Transfers, Tax and Labour Inspectorates from Pristina in a two-day working visit dedicated to methods for detection of the undeclared work, organized by the Employment and Social Affairs Platform 2 (ESAP 2) project of the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC).

“I’m glad that we had an opportunity to host our peers from Pristina and to present our applications to them: Application of unified system of registration, control and collection of social contributions for employees; and TAF ADRIS application that helps the Tax Administration staff i.e. inspectors during the inspection controls”, said Serif Isovic, Director of Tax Administration of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, adding that he believed that colleagues would be able to use the information obtained from this exchange in their future work.

This working exchange included presentation of legal context in which Tax Administration of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina operates but also specific policies, practices and IT solutions utilized in everyday work with clients and field inspection controls. The visiting partners had the opportunity for an extensive insight in the IT solutions and applications, including results stemming from their application. Partners expect to use this information in their planned reform efforts related to the single establishment employee registrar.

Agron Hamiti from Tax Authority from Pristina on behalf of his colleagues thanked the RCC ESAP 2 for enabling this exchange, and expressed satisfaction with the visit, stressing the importance of mutual exchanges, finding it useful as well as necessary: “Through these exchanges we see something that we can take from our colleagues and maybe they will find something that they will discover something from our work that could be helpful to them.”

This working exchange was organized within the Western Balkans Network for Tackling Undeclared Work, supported by RCC ESAP 2 with partners from the region. This regional Network is broadly modelled on the successful European Platform Tackling Undeclared Work, aiming to enhance regional cooperation on tackling undeclared work through a holistic approach.
