The Advanced alignment with the EU acquis and European Pillar of Social Rights (EPSR) component continues to support Ministries of Labour and Social Affairs and Public Employment Services (PES), in aligning employment and social policies with EU Acquis Chapter 2 and Chapter 19. This initiative includes:
Conducting regular performance reviews regarding the EPSR. Based on these individual economy as well as regional performance reviews, which will be conducted three times during ESAP 3, the project will support its beneficiaries to develop, monitor, and evaluate priority labour market and social policies.
Facilitating the participation of Western Balkan PESs in activities of the European PES Network aimed at strengthening capacities of the Western Balkan PESs through mutual cooperation, peer learning and exchange of good practices.
Supporting the work of the Western Balkan representatives of EU-accession negotiating teams and public servants in charge of alignment with the EU acquis gathered around the regional network regarding the Chapter 2 and Chapter 19 through technical expertise to facilitate more efficient alignment process.
These efforts aim to ensure enhanced alignment with the EU standards in the accession process and foster more comprehensive regional cooperation.
